Mark H.B. Radford PhD, MD, RANZCO (Hon) is the Executive Director of the Queensland Eye Institute in Brisbane, Australia, and Executive Director of the South Bank Medical Group (South Bank Day Hospital & Lady Bjelke-Petersen Community Hospital).
Professor Radford holds academic appointments at the University of Queensland and the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane Australia, and the George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology of Târgu Mureș, Romania. He is Chair of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists Human Research Ethic Committee and was on the Board of Governors for the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology Foundation.
Professor Radford has an interested in the relationship between the eye and the brain. He is currently involved in several research projects including understanding human tissue and the role of novel therapeutic strategies in UV medicine for various pathologic conditions, and the development of an international registry for vitreoretinal lymphoma.
