During the celebratory days of University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology 5-10th Dec 2022, some of the members of BRAIN have come together for a symposium on the pathology and new therapeutic avenues for dementias. The symposium was extremely well received by undergraduate medical students and staff who included both local clinical academics as well as Prof Mark Radford, Director and CEO of the Queensland Eye Institute, South Brisbane, Australia. During the celebratory days, there were meetings to catalyse interdisciplinary research in neuroradiology and neuroscience with artificial intelligence.
